I hung out with a bunch of people I haven't seen in awhile and was reminded, again, that we need to give everyone in the food service industry a fucking medal. Because seriously, I have no idea how they get through the day without poisoning all the customers and then setting fire to the ovens.
I'm leery of linking to the friend's band for reasons of anonymity (no one at the show last night knows this journal exists and I rather like it that way). I'll link to this poorly-written album review instead and, should you choose to click through that you will find more music on their myspace page. (Hit laundering, yay!) I think they're very good.
Now I want bandom fics set before the band(s) in question made it big(-ish). To the archive! But first I'm going back to sleep, because I stayed out way past my bedtime yesterday and not all the caffeine in the world can help me now.
